Why USPS Is Not Available

FEDERAL LAW PROHIBITS USPS FROM SHIPPING VAPE PRODUCTS

Under the Prevent All Cigarette Trafficking (PACT) Act (15 U.S.C. § 376):

The U.S. Postal Service is prohibited by federal law from shipping vape products, e-liquids, and nicotine-containing products
This prohibition applies to:

SmokAura offers two alternatives:

FedEx: Standard and overnight options available

Both carriers can handle time-sensitive deliveries if needed.

STATE RESTRICTIONS & AUTHORIZATION

SmokAura is currently licensed to sell and ship to Texas only. Product availability and shipping are restricted as follows:

SmokAura does NOT ship to any states other than Texas, including:

Geofencing & Zip Code Verification

SmokAura uses address verification to confirm Texas residency
Zip code must be within Texas
Billing and shipping addresses must match
Non-Texas shipments will be refused and refunded

Consequence of Unauthorized Shipping

If an order is placed with a non-Texas address:

SmokAura will identify the address as unauthorized
Order will be automatically cancelled
Refund will be issued to original payment method
No exceptions will be made

ADULT SIGNATURE REQUIREMENT

Why Adult Signature Is Required

Federal law and SmokAura policy require adult signature (21+) for all deliveries.

This requirement exists because:

Nicotine products must only be delivered to adults 21+
Prevents underage access to restricted products
Complies with Tobacco 21 federal law
Complies with PACT Act regulations

Non-Negotiable Requirement

Every package requires an adult signature
Signature cannot be waived or bypassed
Exceptions are NOT made under any circumstances

Who Can Sign for Delivery

NO PO BOXES OR ALTERNATIVE ADDRESSES

Physical Address Required

SmokAura ships only to physical residential or business addresses. We do NOT ship to:

Post Office (PO) Boxes: Federal law prohibits shipping vape products to PO boxes
UPS/FedEx mailbox centers: Cannot accommodate adult signature requirement
General delivery: Not eligible for restricted product delivery
Hotels or temporary addresses: May be restricted
Apartment mailrooms: Not acceptable as delivery destination

Why PO Boxes Are Prohibited

Adult signature cannot be obtained at PO boxes

DELIVERY ISSUES & PROBLEM RESOLUTION

Package Not Delivered

If your package is not delivered as expected:

Check tracking status at carrier website (UPS.com or FedEx.com)
Wait 2 business days past estimated delivery date

Provide details: Delivery address, recipient name, last tracking update
File claim: SmokAura will contact carrier and file missing package claim

Lost Packages

If your package is confirmed lost by carrier:

SmokAura will file a claim with UPS or FedEx
Claim processing takes 10-30 business days
If claim is approved, SmokAura will refund or replace
If claim is denied, SmokAura will assist with legal options

Damaged Packages

If your package arrives damaged:

Do not open the package (preserve evidence)
Take photos of exterior damage
Refuse delivery or sign for damage if already received
Contact SmokAura immediately with photos
File claim: SmokAura will contact carrier for damage claim

Delivery Delays

If delivery is delayed beyond estimate:

Contact SmokAura if delay exceeds 2 weeks

Failed Delivery Attempts

If carrier cannot complete delivery:

Reasons for failed delivery:

No one home to sign for package
Invalid address or delivery access issues
Recipient unable to verify age
Recipient refused delivery
Address not accessible

Redelivery options:

Carrier will attempt redelivery (check tracking)
You may contact carrier to arrange redelivery
You may pick up package at carrier facility
Packages held for 3-5 days before return to SmokAura

REFUSED DELIVERIES

Consequences of Refusing Delivery

If you refuse to accept the delivery:

Return shipping: Customer pays all return costs
Restocking fee: Up to 15% of purchase price may be deducted
Refund delays: Extended processing time for return
Final refund: Reduced by shipping + restocking costs

Reasons for Refusal

You may refuse delivery for legitimate reasons:

Damaged package: Document damage with photos before refusal
Address error: Our error; we’ll cover return shipping

Age Verification Refusal
